temp gauge all over the place

i am from indiana so the weather here right now is kinda cold and my temp gauge on my stock 89 cluster is up down up down it never gets hotter than usual it sometimes just never gets warm with my sr20 i am running a front mount also i was wondering if it could be thermostat problems or what not sure or is it just the gauge is inaccurate.

Could be thermostat, but it sounds like you need to bleed the coolant system and make sure it's all topped off.

Follow the proper bleeding procedure and you'll probably be okay!

i have already flushed the radiator and the level is fine that is what i dont' understand unless its a bad sensor in stock gauge cluster
