as the titile states, i need 1 79E DET piston.

because a douche named fuse ripped me off & sold me a mix matched set.

need this asap my motor is at the machine shop & needs to be balanced & blue printed

I have two pistons out of an s13 redtop I parted out. Is the number stamed on them somewhere? I'll check them out for ya.

yes its stamped on the side of the piston

dont need the rings & thats a bit high for 1 used OEM piston considering that people sell complete sets for 100 with rods
if you could do around 25 that would work

Yeah i just bought a set of redtop det pistons
and there stamped 54c...
Is it a later det block?
Or maybe pistons r .5 over?

yeah the 79E were the first piston design for the DET.

the specs on the piston are exactly the same as the 54c, except the 54C are a few grams lighter & have a oil valley in them

being that i have 1 54C, what would you let the 2 you have go for?

then i will have to find 1 more, but the 54C are easier to find then the 79E...

but this mean more money i have to spend :picardfp:

I'll take pics when I get home. My motor had dropped an intake valve so one of the pistons has a dent/gouge in the top. I've been told it would be fine to use it but I like things perfect so I wouldn't. The other piston is perfect just covered in carbon. Are you local to Los Angeles? You could pick them up for 20 bucks.
