Hi, all. I've been looking for a 240SX for quite some time now and I recently came upon this black 1990 240SX. The car is fairly stock, has 160,000 miles on it, and only has had one other owner. He did not list a price for the car, only stating he'll take the best offer. Does anyone know how much a car like this will run for? Thanks! 90' 240sx Hatchback (http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/3162969270.html)

I wouldn't pay over $1800.

Actually...I just saw there wasn't a license plate. Seems like an auction car or a tow yard sale. I'd get a carfax report on the car first. If that was the case...You wouldn't know if he is the only registered owner...I'd red flag that post and keep searching. If it is a lien sale car. I wouldn't pay more than $1400 or so depending on when the last time it was registered.

Yeah, I was thinking around $2000-$2600. I actually just called the guy and asked him how much he wanted the car for and he told me $3500 firm. :-/

I just asked him about the license plates and he told me the car isn't registered. But when he talked to me about the car, he said this car is his daily driver. Yeah, I think I'll pass on this one and keep looking. Thanks, though!

Yea I'd RED FLAG it. It's most likely got dmv back fee's/ penalties on it. Definitely not work 3.5k firm. I buy and sell cars for a living. I'm able to filter out bullshit with one phone call lol.

The car is worth whatever you would pay for it. If you would pay 3500 for it, then go for it... How bad do you want one? Bad enough to pay a stupid price?

I got my 92 coupe for $800 :) Runs like a champ!

JK it was a shell :Ownedd:

But yeah those pricings are about right. The thing is ever since drifting got popular with EVERYONE these cars started getting more expensive around here. Cheapest you could probably go with this car is 2.5K Just cause of the condition it's in. It's getting harder and harder to find unabused clean 240's like that one there nowadays. The cars that run in the 1.8-2.0k range are either a little beat or needs some work to it. Next time I buy a car I'm probably gonna go out of state for it. Cause it seems they double the price of everything when they get it here just because of the demand for them. I found ae86's gts hatches in cali for 4K and they go for 8k in good condition around here. It's ridiculous to be honest.

though it seems a bit of spamming, but that's not so and that's just a piece of advice. whatever this guy offers you, you will loose comparing with the auction, cause there the price for such a car can be really ridiculous. besides, that model i.e. has even less mileage Wrecked NISSAN 240SX/LE/S for sale in IL - CHICAGO NORTH 1991 year wrecked vehicle | Copart Auto Auction Broker Lot 20561132 (http://www.easyexport.us/cars-for-sale/CLEAN_TITLE_1991_NISSAN_240SX_20561132) and for me personally is quite attractive to buy. my parents bought a car for my bro there, a nissan also, though a newer one, and everybody is happy about it both for its condition and the money saved.
