Actually, the best ones ive found that won't break on me are lame ass apc ones (black). I bought them because they were cheaper then just the rubber piece and I no money, AND my stock metal wiper was comming off and scrapping my windshield.
6 months down the road they're still working great.

Trico Teflon windshield wipers
Have them on both my cars, one is year and half old and the others are 8months old. They are both still wiping well.

I just went to Autozone and bought the best ones they had. BOSCHE I think. They work great.

I usually get Bosch Micro Edge wipers. They work great and are usually in good enough shape after a year that I'll buy two new ones and toss one of the old ones on the rear.
Tips to help your wipers last, no matter what brand:
1. Use Rain-X. It reduces the amount of time you need to run the wipers, and by cutting friction minimizes wear on the blades for every swipe.
2. Keep the windshield and wiper blades clean. When you wash the windows, whether in your driveway or at the gas station, wipe the blades down with a wet paper towel.
3. Flip the blades. Every once in a while, unclip the blade from the arm, turn it over, and snap it back in. The top surface gets more sun exposure, so changing the top slows the rubber drying process.

I agree with you. The only thing I have had a bad experience is the rain X. Rain X is great, but the one time I used it, they ruined my wipers. I just didn't like the way they wiped afterwards. Instead of wiping clear, the wipers had streaks behind it when wiping. I use rainX for the side windows and the rear (for my coupe).

Call your local Kragen, or autozone and ask if they have the Trico Teflons and make sure they have your size too. I don't remember whether i got them at Kragen or Autozone.
The first time I purchased them was at Fred Meyers, but I dont' know if you have one near you.

I have PIAA wipers as well, they work great, had them bout 6 months now and still working better than new cheep ones. Also the PIAA blades come with a rainx type pad, used to treat/clean the windsheild before putting new blades on

YUP, the dual-wiper-blade-whatever-euro-something-apc crap. REALLY CHEAP and they work well.
