Its about time we get up some new specials and annoucements. We are down 2 employees over here at this moment so things have been a bit hectic to say the least. I just wanted to let the zilvia crowd know we havent forgotten about you.
We had a lot of inquiries on the Radium Engineering Catch Cans and Installation on the S-Chassis. Radium started out and still specializes in Lotus Vehicles so they didnt have photos of their products on very many Nissan's.
One of our drivers (Erich Hagen) was having some blow-by issues on his CA18DET. He was running a single catch can from another brand and it wasnt cutting it. After some analysis from his tech's they decided a dual catch can setup was going to be the best option for his setup. We contacted Radium and they were happy to come on board as part of the team and supplied us with 2 single catch-cans. We opted for that due to mounting contrants in the engine bay, the dual catch can mount bracket was impossible to use with some of the other components installed. The first thing you notice when you have a Radium Product in your hand is the quality of build, attention to detail, and ease of use. These are truely remarkable products and well worth the extra cash. Trust me, we stock $100 catch cans and they are suitable for some situations, but they are not even close in design or quality.
With Round 5 of Formula D coming to town we worked hard to get these installed just in time. We are very happy to say that the team ran into ZERO blow-by issues during the event.
Streetsweepernw just ran an in depth article on Erich Hagen last week so check that out if you get a chance.
