Posting this up for a friend:

Looking to trade my 2001 Aspen White Impreza 2.5rs Sedan for an S14 with an SR20 swap. Has to be clean. I am willing to drive anywhere in the country to make the trade but the closer the better. I am located in Chicago.

The Impreza has 145k miles on it but there are no CEL’s and it runs great. The oil has been changed regularly as well as other maintenance. These RS's are getting harder and harder to find and the Aspen White ones are even more difficult to find.

Some recent maintenance done in the last 3 months includes: full alignment, complete rebuild of brakes including rebuild of all brake calipers with new seals and clips, new StopTech stainless steel brake lines, new Porterfield R4-S brake pads, new Pentosin high temp brake fluid, brake calipers repainted black, new transmission fluid, new differential fluid, new NGK spark plugs, new clutch line fluid, new Denso coil pack, new left rear wheel bearing, new black microsuede shift boot, new floor mats

The car has typical dents and dings for an 11 year old car but is overall very clean. Interior is in great condition. Has an OEM upgraded Subaru alarm system that was an option when the car was new. The car has a list of aftermarket parts currently installed but will have the stock wheels, stock steering wheel, and stock rear wing put back on when it is sold/traded depending on the trade/price.

The list of parts I have installed include:
Raceland GC coilovers (3000 miles on them)
Rota G-Force Matte Black 17x8 +48 Wheels (2000 miles on them)
Kumho Ecsta 225/45/17 Tires (2000 miles on them)
Muteki Black Close Ended Lug Nuts
K&N High Flow Panel Filter
Custom Ganzflow Style Intake Tubing (Still have the stock intake as well)
Tsudo N1 Catback Exhaust
StopTech Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines
Porterfield R4-S Brake Pads
Power Slot Slotted Brake Rotors
Rally Armour Mud Flaps
Nardi Personal Neo Grinta Steering Wheel
Daikei Plug and Play Steering Wheel Hub (Has Airbag Delete Harness and Working Horn Button)
JDM Clear Corner Lights
Clear Front Bumper Lights
Clear Sidemarkers
Aspen White stock RS coupe wing (instead of Sedan wing that will come stock)
WC Lathe Works Counterweight Shift Knob
6k Natural White HID's
LaminX Yellow Fog Light Covers
Natural White LED's for all interior bulbs as well as license plate bulb
WRX Blue Illuminated Key Ring

I am mainly looking to trade for an S14 with an SR20 but would also consider selling the car outright for $6500.

Here are some pictures of how it sits currently

So your wanting to trade your "NON - Turbo" Subaru for a turbocharged s14? That's an extremely bad trade. The boxer engines are incredibly weak when n/a. GLWS though.

Your entitled to your opinion. My car may not be turbocharged but it is also a few years newer than an s14. And with the money ive put into my car I dont think it is unreasonable to trade for a turbocharged s14. The boxer motors are also quite reliable when maintained right. Ive seen many RS's go up to 260k+ miles without major issues.

Thanks! I also forgot to add that the coilovers still have a 2 year warranty on them that covers full replacement on any of them for free if they have any issues

Breaking news: the value of a car is determined by whether it's turbocharged or not.

More at 11.

Free bump, this guy is retarded.

The 4 doors actually dont weigh any more than the 2 doors and are known to be a little stiffer:)

Yeah but the Subaru has 4 doors and the s14 has 2 doors so obviously the Subaru costs more because it has more doors duhhhh... :coold:

I had a compression leak down test done on the car today at GRD Performance. It tested very well with cylinder 1 at 2%, cylinder 2 at 4%, cylinder 3 at 2%, and cylinder 4 at 2%. I do have the paperwork from GRD to support these numbers.
