I need help with this.
I'm going to do a wire mod.
The objective.
I want my turn signals to be on all the time when my headlights are on (like fogs) but then have them blink when I turn on my signal.
Some reason I can't google the situation. I could be wording it wrong in google.
I like the look of the "lit up" bumper
Thankss

It's not too difficult to do, but you'll need a bit of electrical wiring knowledge to do it. You'll have to change the bottom base where the turn signal light bulb sits from a one wire turn signal base to a two wire base. You can get the parts at Pepboys, Autozone or O'Reileys. You'll also need to purchase those two filament bulbs, like the ones you use in your rear brake lights. You'll have to test fit the two filament bulbs in the turn signal socket to find the one that fits.
If you remove the bulb for your turn signal and look into the empty socket you should see a base that looks something like this.....

To get your turn signals to work, (power on when driving and blink when turning), you'll have remove the one wire base from the turn signal socket. After you replace the one wire base with the two wire base, you'll have to put the two filament bulb into the socket and figure which wire on the two wire base powers each filament within the bulb. One wire will provide the 12 volts to turn the bulb on at low setting, while the other wire will turn on the bulb at the high "bright" setting. Once you figure out which wire provides power to the two filament bulb at low & bright setting all you have to do is splice into your side marker lights to provide you with the 12 volts to turn on the low power bulb-on setting. The other 12 volt wire which will turn on your bulb on its "bright" setting will come from the turn signal wire you cut to replace the one wire base to a two wire base.
Sorry if it sounds difficult to discribe, but once you see it done, you'll realize how simple it is to do. You'll need some 14-16 gauge electrical wire, wire crimpers, wire cutters, wire strippers, some electrical butt splices, and maybe some black electrical tape and/or zip ties. Bout the only two problem you might have are: 1). Getting the two wires to run thru the base of your turn signal socket to power up your bulb, and 2). Sealing the base of your turn signal socket so water doesn't get in there & short out your bulb. You might be able to use some black rubber window gasket sealer to weatherproof the turn signal socket.
Good luck...hope you get it to work....

Crap...I just remembered that the FRONT turn signal bulbs are NOT the same like the REAR brake bulbs so it might not work... You might have to cut out the entire base/socket & use a different type to get it to work if you can.
Sorry bro....

I did just that. I cut the connectors off of both lights then extended the wires, then run the wires to the opposite lights. Solider the connectors back on. Before taping or heat shrink, extend one new wire from the green wire (remember the green wire is now routed to the corner and not the turn signal. DO NOT BE A TOOL LIKE ME AND BLOW A FUSE) of the turn signal to the black of the corner. Now your turns will be active with your headlights and alternate with your corners when the turn signal is active.
If you only want the corners to be your new turn signal. Take a DMM and measure the resistance of the turn signal bulb and corner bulb. Subtract the corner bulb value from the turn and add this size resistor to you corner. Doing so will prevent your car from seeing an open circuit.

I believe you need to up the resistance by 5watts.
I done the same to my S14 where i turned the Parker lights into indicators so i didn't have to run front bar indicators.

You are correct. The turn signal bulb is 27W and the corner is 5W. I am going to buy at least a 20W orange bulb to place in my corner light since it is now my turn signal.
