Everyone repeat after me:
"I will remove my MAF sensor and clean it!"
I did this yesterday, took 10 mins, used some rubbing alcomahol and a qtip to clean out the inside of it which apparently conducts electricity through the whole inner surface of the tube as well as cleaned the little dangly wire thinghy..Car Idles better, feels a bit smoother and peppier and seems to be using less gas although ill withold judgement on that till I drive some more

Is there a reason why you used rubing alcohol to do this? Is there a beter way to fi this like just blasting it with a spray? Does intake/throttle spray work? Does car cleaner work?? Just wondering cause I would like to clean mine as well.

i have a can of throttle body cleaner for instance
it says "leaves a lubricating film behind" so I didnt use that...You could probably use brake cleaner but I had the rubbing alcohol and qtip already

I've been meaning to clean mine for a while. Just did it... rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip. The only part you need to clean is the tiny thermistor. I didn't feel a difference....

S13 and S14 MAFs are different. There isnt much to clean on the S14 one.

GhettoKracker, it's not there yet? Dam postal people. Let me know when you get it. I'm going to go clean mine now. My car seems to be using more gas lately.
hmm....this can be my problem also, but seems though...after i replaced my fuel filter and fuel pump my gas mileage went down from 275-300 down to 200~
