I'm usually not one to make a post like this, but it seems every couple months I check the prices on their s13 suspension parts they have risen a substantial amount.
2 months ago the Pro RUCA's were 292 (if I remember correctly), subframe collars were 88, toe arms were 235, etc.
Sure 10 to 15 dollars here or there isn't TOO much, but when you put add that extra cost when you buy multiple items from them it makes for a large chunk of change.
I finally have the money to spend and hoped on buying it all from SPL, but phase2 is looking nice w/ their BatteVersion prices. Might have to reconsider...would save over 100+ bucks. Maybe SPL will give discount if you spend over 1200 on a single order :)
Is the exchange rate that bad? I've heard nothing but good things about the quality, but why are the prices rising so fast?

I've noticed too. The subframe collars are still cheap at TechnoToyTuning.com We need to talk to Gabriel over there. The guy makes nice quality stuff at a VERY reasonable price. His AE86 rear links are better quality than the Battle Version ones, and cheaper. (WHAT???) Don't believe me? Check them out.

Buy RUCAs from TougeFactory $219, $89 for subframe collars, they don't have toe arms on thier site, but he can get em, just talk to him, he is out of most of his things and needs to place an order (might have already done so), but they have Tanabes for $279.

techno toy tuning has collars for 80 bucks. great value and great quality.
Since I have not used battle version, I can't comment on their quality from experience... however, I've heard some scary stories about them. My main concern with BV is that their parts are relatively universal -- almost everything that fits on an S13 will also fit on an S14. Considering that every other respectable suspension company makes DIFFERENT designs for those chasses, a red flag should immediately be raised.
On another note I've seen and handled the SPLparts pieces personally, and can vouch for their quality. I'm sure there are others who will be able to vouch for either SPL or BV, though, so maybe we should hear from them. . .

SPL's prices went up cus they lost money last year IIRC.
Ask Kuah (or I'm sure he'll pop on)... anyway, their shit is TOP, and its worth every penny.

I have handled the SPL parts PRO-RUCA and they are very nice. A side note, my ProjectNissan RUCA are crap, and don't have the adjust the SPL parts arms have. Just depends on what you are buying cause the SPL parts "regular" RUCA and TougeFactory RUCA are the same and have the same type of adjustment as the PRO SPL RUCA. I would get the TougeFactory arms if you were looking at a set of arms. If you want uber quality the SPL PRO arms are very good.

Ya I have seen all of the TF stuff in person and own the t/c rods. Same company makes em, good stuff. I have BV Toe Arms found em in a junk yard, btu I lost one of the pillowball pieces so they aren't on (gonna sell em to a friend anyways). But they are pretty nice stuff too.

SPL products are very nice. You will not be dissapointed. I am willing to bet no one on this board will actually be able to feel the difference between the "pro" and regular RUCA's. I say just save your money and get the regular one. I have all SPL adjustable arms and love them. Kuah is great and they really know there shit.
