Im looking for an VLSD out of a s13/s14. However, my car dosent have ABS. I got a 93 coupe, and i found an VLSD that will bolt right on. However, im not shure if the VLSD has the ABS sensor on it. Do not want a unit with the ABS sensor on it. How can i tell which VLSD have the ABS and which ones dont?

If it's off a 240 it still should work. You just have to compress the bushing down a tad, but it works. The difference is that the ABS driveshaft is about an inch shorter.

Do S13 VLSD's work on S14's, and vise versa?

A VLSD w/ABS is about 1/4" longer b/c it has an ABS sensor. The sensor is at the front of the diff where it connects to the driveshaft. you will know b/c it has a wire.

Also i heard that there is alot of shaft play when you use a abs vlsd on a non abs car. That true?
