In 1967 they made the Chevrolet Camaro. This car would be perfect except for its price!

So, I am searching similar vehicles (similar with respect to: weight & drivetrain)

A similar vehicle might be a 1966 Ford Mustang. Similar weight, similar drivetrain. But also covet!

SO, I am trying to think of other vehicles, similar, such as an Oldsmobile Cutlass from 1978 or something, with a V8 drivetrain already installed (planning an LSx swap) and a similar weight (3500~lbs max) and is very affordable (under 5k)

go!

he might be able to get a 72-74 Nova for $5k, but i doubt he will get a 68-71 for that price.

really. almost any muscle car from the 60'-80's had a v8.

Buddy had a 70 chevelle with a 454. Awesome monster.

mid to late 60's cougars, chevelles, novas and basically anything that came with a V8 except camaros and mustangs can be found in ok, ks, tx for less than 6k in fair condition.

but fuck 60's cars... Keep your nissan car and get an old truck... 50's and 60's trucks make panties drop. You want a vehichle that will get you laid everytime you drive it? 50's chevy truck with the wood bottom bed and an ls swap, lowered (not bagged or slammed) on some 20"s, candy paint, and nice interior.

take the rims off. paint is an ok color.

I enjoyed my Galaxie and they can be found in any shape for cheap. I have a 72 Cutlass right now that I'm enjoying a great deal with the original 350 "Rocket".
