Hey all, been on the fence for a while as to whether or not i want to get rid of my current project. Progress has been slow and while i have all the parts and the will to put everything back together, i just havent gotten around to it. So with that said, this is a feeler thread. Ive been curious to see what i can get as possible trades for this thing.
Onto the car:
1985 Toyota cressida mx-73 sedan
97k miles 5m-ge/auto
all original
1 owner
clean title
NO RUST
stupidly clean interior
no dents
Just a REALLY clean shell
The reason why its a project, is because the car developed rod knock. At 97k miles, i dont know how that is possible but it happened. with that said, i pulled the motor, cleaned everything thoroughly and bought all new connecting rods and bearings. I havent gotten the time to put the motor back together due to work and vacation.
The car is incredibly clean, 1 owner, all garage kept. The car is 99.8% rust free. the only two known rust spots is a surface rust patch above the drivers tailight thats the size of about a nickel. The only other spot is below the rear bumper, there is a small piece of sheet metal that is bolted down into the rear bumper, its purpose is unknown to me. My guess is its some kind of spacer.
Currently, for the thread purpose, the car would be considered a shell, as time goes on and i put things back together it would be a complete car and odviously the price would go up.
Im interested to see if theres any trade intrest (or cash if the price is right) for this thing. Price wise i really dont know what to ask. Pricing on cressida shells are spotty, some expensive, some not expensive, so with that said, throw out an offer if interested. The worst i could say is no.

Everything about this car is stupidly clean, the interior is immaculate. no rips, stains, NOTHING. Same for the exterior, also stupidly clean.
If you have questions feel free to pm me.
