Aight I've been researching a lot for the past couple of weeks, and I've been through Recaro's, JIC, Sparco, Corbeau, you name it... but I keep being led towards the Brix. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or is Brix just the best, and I shouldn't bother trying anything else?

Here's what I want:

1) Has to sit low... I'm 6' 2'' and after wearing a helmet I don't have room to work with. I also sit pretty close to the wheel.
2) Reclinable
3) Good bolsters (like the Brix, UNLIKE Sparco Torino) I'll be using this seat for auto-x and just daily driving.
4) 4 point harness friendly.

Thanks,
John

...they will all say that your should go with some seat that everyone else recomended blah-blah...custom rails..blah blah
I'm 6'4, and I've been thinking the same shit, so this is whats up....
If you are tall enough and can COMFORTABLY sit back far enough, you can try to put the universal or side mounts after the support beam, and raise it accordingly so the seat can clear it, you'll be low as shit! I didn't DO IT yet, but tested it and it would work for my lanky ass, why not yours! As far as which seat, pick the hottest one and make it work, there aren't really too many options for mass-produced seats made for the taller/slimmer driver.

If you don't mind the comfort then I suggest get KIRKEY. They are the best for tall people.

If I ever get rid of my bride then I will go with Kirkey and they are a shietload better than the Bride.

this is like the 200th time u made a thread about seats....

1) get a seat
a) make custom brackets to sit super low
b) get JDM super low brackets for specific brand (Recaro/Bride)

2) get R32/R33 seats (they sit like stock height), 3 out of the 4 holes will line up

Brix are good for daily driving and compet drive.....only thing is they are really expensive.....unless you fined a good used deal which is getting pretty rare.....other that that it depends on if you want to recline or not..........Sparco=VERY GOOD.Recaro=JDM...cheaper than bride...(same quality)...most seats wioll be fine nbo big deal...try and sit in one before you buy (especially on the JDM ones cuz..the seats are small->japanese people

if brix are bottom mount you will still be as high as stock.
get a sidemount bucket.
i just got a pair of sparco rev and am going to order bride super low rails soon.
probably going to sell the other rev and just keep one for myself.

I don't mind being as high as stock, I just can't be any higher.
