I'm trying to install racing seats in my 93 240sx 'vert. I've tried installing various racing seats, but I keep getting the same problem. The part of the seat by your shoulders where it gets wider always hits the area of the door panel where the seat pillars are. If anyone has pictures of how they have their seats installed, or any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

so lets get this straight here, the mod you're talking of makes you lose 70+ pounds off the car, makes it look better, and uses the rear seat belt relocated for the front belt because of the removal of the vert doors? anyone have a pic of the seat belt mod in this idea for those of us who just wanna stick with s14 seats like I have in my vert? (so comfy compared to vert seats)

oh and hatch and couple doors the same in metal makeup, may have more or less wires for whatever luxuries like mirrors, windows, radio, or seat belt power options you may have. vert doors weigh in at 35+ pounds more a piece due to added supposed safety features to allow nissan to even sell the car.
