I think it looks pretty cool, and fairly cheap!
thinking of doing my intake for my ls1 next

I personally think doing anything other than the body color for the fuel door doesn't stand out right, but I kinda wanna see how the intake manifold is going to turn out. I think that would look pretty sick

looks nice and well done but I agree with it not looking right on the car. If I saw that on someones car driving around I would probably think the person pulled it off a broken car and was waiting to get it painted.

I think it's pretty cool. I'd ask about it and sounds like you'd have some info to back it up.

check the valve cover painting thread there were several ones dipped. my favorite was a sr vc dipped with a wood grain pattern! it was badass!

The technology is quite neat, but on cars it looks very tacky.

Meh, not my cup of tea, just like roof racks and sticker bombing I think it just makes a car look tacky. But still it looks like a good job definitely better than that carbon faber vinyl wrap garbage

Seriously, he said it looked cheap. Why would you say that? It's not even your part to get so defensive.

I was looking into this a while back... Found a start-up kit with everything needed including a heated tank big enough to dip 20" wheels for around $700.
