Chances are someone in the area with an s13 can crank your car and get a copy of their key for the time being then have the locksmith make you a key.

if you have AAA premier they offer free locksmith services. i've had a mobile locksmith make me a key from the glove box cylinder at 3 am. (don't ask, drunk roommate)

I heard the dealers stopped making keys for these cars since they're too old...

Negative. They don't LIKE to cuz it actually takes effort, but they are fully capable.

Like put it in the safety deposit box. Like I do. I keep passports, social security, etc in there. My 240's important enough to warrant it to be in there. I just hope I keep a spare key for the safety deposit box. lol

nissan doesnt have info of older cars like ours, i think s14 may be as far back as they can go. if yer lucky, youll still have the key code sticker in your glovebox
however, you can always buy a lock/key/cylinder set...

truth. i'm sure you could get a complete lock/key set with ign cylinder from someone parting a car out for less than $50
