1989 240sx ac compressor doesnt fit 1992 240sx?

so im told the 1989 240sx ac compressor wont fit on a 1992 nissan 240sx is this true?I didnt relise theres a difference I may have bought the wrong ac compressor or is he wrong and there is no difference?

As far as I know the KA24E ac compressor will not work on a KA24DE.

I do not know if the Compressor will bolt on to the engine or not but I'm pretty sure the lines are not the same.
