I have a JDM S15 LSD R200 Rear end for sale, has a 3.916 gear ratio, and like all JDM stuff, exact milage is unknown.

I purchased this rear end for my S14, but ended up selling the car before I had the chance to use it. asking $600 obo plus shipping costs...

it's a "Nismo" VLSD? No such thing, a Viscous LSD is standard equipment on nissans. And also, gear ratio in the SR20DET S15 is 3.692, and it's a Helical differential. The best way to see what you have is by popping off the aluminum diff cover and look for the numbers on the ring gear to see what ratio it is, and also you'll be able to tell if it's a helical or VLSD.

IIRC the s15 had 3 different diffs, depending on if turbo, non turbo, auto/manual etc. So, if it is indeed the HLSD i would really be interested to get this. Still for sale?

HLSD is only available in an s15 with 6 MT.......The gear ratio is 48/13 ......On the picture, I don't think you have an HLSD

this is not true if i read correctly it was optional on the NA and 5spd model

Yes its helical, as you can tell from the pictures. And no, it's not overpriced.

I was wondering if you ever figured out any info on this diff? Is it a helical diff and what gear ratio it has. If it is a Helical Im very interested. let me know asap
