i saw this and im keeping an eye on it...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=599960550&r=0&t=0

i know that injen is the way to go, but it looks as if i would have to dish about $400 canadian to get one, and im not prepared to do that...

also, i would like to know if anyone has bought off ebay, i havent yet but probably will soon,

any tactics i should use to protect myself, these guys who sell this also have a muffler i want, and they seem reputable, they have a good website...

if thats the exact size of the piping it believe its going to be a little bit short in size and wont be an EXACTLY perfect fit....... i buy off e-bay often i'd say just make sure the seller has good feedback and ur pretty set

i've dealt with them, and it wasn't good.  I won a strut bar, then ebay de-registered them, and they never answered any emails from me.

They have 43 neutrals and negatives.  Be careful.

Also, you can the the injen for 330 cdn (with cai) and probably 230 without.

i bought an intake off of ebay as well. just the metal extension as i already had the filter. i had all kinds of problems making it fit. i had to take off the fan shroud so i could close the hood. my extension is now being held on with zip ties. it's ugly but effective. i am going to purchase the injen soon, so i am not worried about the looks right now. i would reccomend saving your cash and buying an injen. they cost more but you know it will fit perfectly. there is nothing more annoying then buying stuff you can't use.

I would say the guy is safe to buy from, most of his feedback is very positive, the neutral's and negatives are from people that expect the Obx product to be top quality for such a cheap price. I think I saw about two out of five hundred (didn't feel like looking through the other 1500 feedbacks) that complained about not getting product.

Just pay with a credit card through Paypal, and if they don't give you the stuff you bought, then call up your credit card company and they will pay you back.  I had this happen to me once, I bought a Nokia 8890 for $450 and the guy just didn't send it, and didn't reply my emails, so I have to go back to my "Sent items" in outlook and print out the emails I sent to the guy, proving I have tried to contact him, and I faxed it to the credit card company, and I got my money credited back to my card.  So don't worry, and besides, someone with that good of a feedback would usually send it, unless you are really really unlucky
