I just picked up a 89 nissan 240sx that ran good when I bought it but seemed to have a slight bog only when the car was hot/or after i drove moderately hard. After a couple of days the bog got worse so now i had to give the car about 1/20th throttle from a stop just to keep the car from bogging but after the car is moving it is fine. I was like ok let me change some stuff and after all the changes i list now(, spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, fuel pump,) nothing has gotten better

So my next ideas were 02 sensor/ignition coil/maf sensor.

Any help is welcome I just cannot seem to figure out the issue. But like I said when the car is cold it runs good but when its hot it acts like doo doo butter and even idles bad.

Or even injectors but I do not think they would get worse over time with heat issues i dunno

Changing the oxygen sensor and the ignition coil now, otherwise the last two things are injectors and maf

take a look at my thread, see if it's similar to your problem:

Check the base idle and base timing. I bet your base idle is too low and wouldnt hurt to check the timing for the poor performance. This is for KA24DE, but i think its the same procedure.
