kade vs. kae backing plate

anyone who has done the dohc or auto -> man. swap,
is the engine backing plate the same on the kae and kade?

ie can i use everything from the backing plate back from a 90 on my 95 (i understand that the ds won't fit)

im using a 90 backing plate on a 91 motor, works fine.
