Hey Zilvia,
My name is Jamel and I've been a Zilvia member since '04 (jdizzy204). I will be working with Tsuneyoshi san to help with inquiries about exporting. His English is good but due to the use of slang and complex questions, we thought it would be beneficial for me to address these inquries.
Many of you have contacted Tsuneyoshi san with inquiries about importing cars and parts. We are very thankful for these and hope to continue hearing from you all.
As many of you know, the USA has a law that prohibits the legal registration of vehicles imported from Japan that were produced less than 25 years ago. We can get the cars, and we are able to put them on a ship to the USA, but after that, we cannot guarantee you will be able to drive the car without troubles. Please keep that in mind when making inquiries.
Also, I think many people have the image that Japan has an infinite amount of popular cars waiting to be bought. While 10 years ago, it might have seemed that way, now, it is not the case. Cars are exported, wrecked, cut, and crushed everyday and numbers of these cars are dwindling. With that said, they can still be found but patience and a decent budget is required if looking for an immaculate car.
With all of that out of the way, I am excited to be a part of this company and look forward to answering you guys' questions. Let me know how I can help!!
Sincerely,
Jamel Lopes
