the little metal "elbow" that connects the uppermost intake hose to the engine is loose on the engine side, meaning there is no airtight seal between it and the engine and i can freely pull the hose with the elbow attached right out of the engine hole.

surprisingly my engine is running fine and no CEL, buuuut im pretty sure its not supposed to be loose like that..? is it possible to seal this up somehow? i figure the engine would melt away most practical solutions, so what can i use?

i attached an image of the part i am talking about..sorry i dont know what its called
thanks for your help guys

Nothing crazy will happen. But you could always squeeze in a bit of job weld (or something of the sort)
