Just came into a little extra $$ and I want an exhaust. I want to buy new, but if there is a nice used one out there I would definitely consider it. I am leaving my car with the stock KA for now, so make suggestions based on that. If I go SR or RB later, I'll just replace the whole thing.
I want an exhaust that provides the best combination of sound and performance. I love the growl that the car already has, and I DO NOT want to change that into the :barf: whiny pissed off lawnmower sound :fawk2: that I have heard running around on some local S13's.
Make suggestions for my 98 Pearl White 240.......

I have heard really great things about the Duals, I think they might be a little loud for me though at highway speed. I like the N1 style, but EVERYONE has it. Any other suggestions?

Phase2 has the RSR exmag for 525 if you got that much money. Eventhough it's supposed to be their silent model it still has 80mm piping which is good for performance.

For the other replies - money isn't really an issue. I will spend the cash to get the best balanced exhaust....
I was hoping for some good gains without sacrificing dB levels especially inside the car. Outside I want it to have a little growl, but not so much as to instantly attract every podunk-ass-backward cop in these little towns around here.
I'm still gonna keep looking and taking opinions.

I just recently installed the Tanabe hyper medallion on my car and let me tell you, ITS AWESOME. When your inside the car it is just a tad bit louder than stock, unless you you go WOT. And outside the car it is a nice low growl, I love it. I believe it to be 65mm piping, which you would probably want. And another good thing about this exhaust is that ground clearance is not an issue, I think my ground clearance is actually improved with this exhaust. Im not willing to sell but let me know if you wanna see it i will be willing to post some pics up for you.
