I've gotten everything needed for the swap but my mounts, and lost my job and ran out of money. I'm wondering if anyone has rb20 mount plans or dimensions that my mom's bf could make at work. I'd appreciate it if anyone could help me out with this. Thanks.

Just hold it up with a cherry picker and start trial and error on some. Measure, measure and measure again and then throw something together and see how that works. Probably your best bet if you are going custom. That way you can sit it in there the way you want it.

As above said but no need for measuring. What I did to make my own mounts was:
1. Use lift to get motor in engine bay
2. Make props to get motor at the right angle and held in without support of the lift.
3. Remove lift
4. Make temp. motor mounts with rod and plate (before this step you will have to fab up extensions from the crossmember to new mount points).
5. Make a jig from the temp. motor mounts
6. Make the mounts
7. Install

rb20s drop right in on a stock crossmember, the engine will just sit a little high

That is even better, probably only have to mod the existing mounts if you want the motor a little lower. I was in reference to rb25 on s13 cross member in my post under assumption that mount points were the same.

This. The d/s will work too, althrough at a strange angle IIRC.

Thanks for the help, I'm gonna experiment with sitting it in, see if I can come up with something to lower the motor. Thanks again =]

For sure get that motor super low low for some ground scraping action! lol jk well as long as you make an oil pan that will give you the clearance and keep the same oil capacity you will be all good

How high is "a little high"? Will the heat get to the paint of the hood?
