You mean you put a sr in an sr and someone told you to run a separate relayed line to make your fuel pump work?????

most of the time the old wiring doesn't provide enough power to the pump, when you relay the fuel pump directly from the battery you reduce the chance of the pump not having enough power, it's a simple and cheap mod. Maybe he doesn't want you to risk not having enough power to the pump and damage your engine with the tune since he does his tunes with the idea that the car is under good conditions...

This is one of the mods, every swap should have done!
If you have problems or question's, I watching!
Is this a race car or street car?

you already have a relay, it is commanded by the ECU. What you need is replace the thin cables by thicker cables.

I'm sure he means hot wire mod for the fuel pump! "dedicated relay" is being used like the terms "limp mode" or "bogging"!
