ive searched the forums for tein basic and i didnt find anyone that actually has them on their car. so if someone does have them installed, i need some opinions on how they ride, etc. pictures would be great too
FYI, im trying to decide between the Basic and SS.

for about the same price you can get the mookeeh mk-1's. a review on the dgtrials board says they're very similar to Tein HE's:
scroll about midway down (http://www.dgtrials.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=2332)
if i had known about these i might've tried them.

Those Mk-1's sound like something I might try. I wonder if they have them for the S13?

i have basics on my 89 fastback w/tein camber plates upfront. they're perfect for me. i use my car as a daily driver though. they're pretty stiff (stiffer then i expected being marketed as the lowest model). kinda similar to HE's on the softest setting. the car is still plenty fun on the track too. very good compromise if the car isn't track only. i'd recommend them.

Wow, the fronts have adjustable lower brackets? :tweak: Or is that just the seatlock spun all the way down?

yeah they are height adjustable, but not double adjustable like the upper range of Teins are.. I have the basics on my car too and I love em...way better than the tokico spring agx combo i used to have, and at the preset Tein height they are pretty low.

the subject of GAT coilovers was brought up (on IFX i think). here's a pic of what they look like:

Then of course there's the D2/ KSport coilovers which no one knows anything about. I was curious so I got in on the group buy. should get mine next week cause i paid for express shipping:

ACe you need to let me know how those things are. I was very curious as to how they work but I blew my money on a clutch pedal and all other related hardware to make it work.
