turbo newbie

im new to the whole turbo engine. ive always believed in going n/a. i was wondering what all these different things do for the turbo. like all those turbo timers and things of the sort.

EBC - electronic boost controller...electronically control when the wastegate will start to dump exhaust.
Turbo Timer – keeps the engine running after shut down to allow the bearing to cool down before cutting the oil supply.
