a friend of mine recently told me that a NA Z32 LSD will bolt up to a s13 but you need axles of another nissan for it to work. does any know of this swap, and what else you need to make it work.
thanks

i had one in my car.
i used the a z32 axle on the passenger (long) side
and bought an s13 vlsd output flange and had the stock driver side axle.
also, the two bolts that bolt up into the subframe were longer and my old man made some aluminim bushings although i've heard you could use washers... ghetto in my book, but it's supposed to work.

Use two J30 (5 bolt flange) axles. I believe pre 95 has the 5 bolt. Also the 5 bolt flanged axles from a 180sx will work, but are probably harder to locate.

make sure you rent a hub puller from kragen.
Also note that the axle shafts are different sizes, haha. I didnt realize for about 3 hours trying to install my lsd.

i used j30 axles, after trying to get nissan vlsd out puts to no avail, i saved 250 and got j30 axles, worked great, if in s13 u gotta change the rear cover to s13, and make soem bushings, i used bigg washers, on the fron mounts for the diff, z32 and s14 use bushings to mount while the s13 is had mount. on the site i did a wirte up but never added the pics. www.lakesidep.tk
"10 3/8” washers that will act as spacers to make the hard mount for the diff. To sub frame(s13 is hard mount, 300zx has bushings, if you use the bushing the rear cover will crack "
