Hey wassup guys, #### I HAD A BLAST TONIGHT!! It was the 1st time i have ever drag raced or run my car. LMAO the 1st time i ran i fucked it all up went past the line didn't back up far enough and i never even lit the tree up i just went. LMAO i ran like a 23 sec. run :-P but after that i ran 15's consecutively and my best time was a 15.445 in which im happy with, although i would've liked to seen a 14 it just wasn't goin to happen so i will be back with MORE POWER!!!  MUUAHAHAHAHAH  :-P O and the best part is i smoked a little ricer dude in his honda del sol, a SLOW ASS v6 mustang, an eagle talon, and i was beating a 2000 prelude all the way down the track unil the very end when that #### VTEC beat me and he pulled ahead in the high mph. BUT ALL IN ALL IT WAS A BLAST!!

(not really into Honda's) But is it true that VTEC dumps air into the engine at a certain RPM?

i've always wanted to do either two things at the track:

1)  Burnout and take the fuck off WAY before the light even changes.. just bone-out and leave the strip as if I stole the motha...

2)  Take a big car down to the strip and have some girls press their booties out the window as I run a 50 second quarter mile while bumping HARD..

Someone'd better do that one day.. they'll be famous, thats for sure. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

all i've heard mostly is that ppl w/ vtec said it kicks in at higher rpm's n higher speeds i guess.

There are two camshaft profiles on a VTEC motor. &nbsp;At a certain RPM, the motor switches to the other camshaft profile. &nbsp;This is done by the ECU using oil pressure to actuate pins to couple the rocker arms together from the low RPM profile and the high RPM profile.

s14vaxlr8 &nbsp;i/h/e??? I don't follow?? &nbsp; &nbsp;
For real!! LOL It was very addicting after several runs i said i was goin to leave but then as i started out i just some how turned back into the line ... JUST ONE MORE TIME WOULDN'T HURT!! :-P Plus, my gf was riding with me and she kept on wanting to go again ... lol finally i had to leave cause i had barely enough gas to make it back home.
My performance mods r Injen CAI, CAE, Hotshot header, custom exhaust from a local shop, &amp; Ractive muffler. Plus, i was on normal street tires that would not warm up cause it was cold as balls out last night.
FINALLY, #### have u peeps never driven a honda?? VTEC is pretty impressive it reminds me almost exactly of a turbo car. Lag at first then throws u back.
