Longshot but looking for one within driving distance, looking to spend under 2K for one. I dont need a transmission, or any accessories, no wiring either.
I already have a set of rebuilt heads, mainly needing a block to rebuild but I won't turn down a longblock if you have one.
Looking for one around East Texas, LA, Arkansas, etc. Within 3-400 mile radius.
Thanks.

Good luck. You doing vq swap? I would lower what you are offering. Running long blocks are going for about a grand.

Nah, I have a 04 Touring Z and it had a valve tick. Doesn't really hurt it performance wise it's just aggravating. I sent my set of heads to Z1 in Georgia as a core to get back there stage 1 heads. Now I'm looking for a block to send to them as a core to get there stage 2 block.
Planning on S/C this summer. I'd rather have something else to send off that way my car isn't down in the mean time.
I have had 0 luck finding anything. Ones I have found are all HR. Which I do not want lol.

Damn... I'm almost tempted to tell you to buy an HR and trade me. There is quite a few DEs around here. Look in atlanta...there where a few there last week and you could even have it dropped of at z1 and save shipping.

HR F/I systems cost 2-3K more than a normal de. The cost doesn't justify the gains made.

Somewhat funny, same year almost and had the same problem with the "tick" coming from the head. Lol.

I have a bare bones short block. NOTHING on it. Just the block. also have the oem pistons and rods.
$200 plus shipping, unless of course you come get it from kansas.
seriously though, it is just the block. if there is something that could have been unbolted from it, it is. no upper or lower oil pan, no accessories, no sensors, no crank shaft nor cradle....
Just dont want you to think you are getting ripped off if you buy it and see a big piece of aluminum with 6 holes lol.
