autox, gymkhana, drift, Orange county

went up to HTM at WSIR a few weeks ago and now i can't wait till my next track day. but rosamond is a hell of a drive from orange. i've heard about some events like autox and driving schools occurring in el toro which is essentially in my backyard.

anyone know when these kind of events are in the orange county area? i just want to get more time to familiarize myself with the car and push it to the limits grip and drift.

the drive up to rosamond is weary and literally a pain in the butt. bucket seats are terrible for 3 hour drives - _ -.

so yea, any info on events as described above in the OC area would be a great help.

well, i dont have a problem going up per say given an event (fairly frequent)...but i want more events that i can go to that wont be as much of a commute. this way i can spend more time tracking vs commuting.

To bad there no more drifting there.. thanx just drift.. LOL. Not there falt it was the drivers. Going for the greddy grage sale they had that day. Dame Honda drivers. Been trying to host an event there for years. No go . I did get some where with the OC fair grounds but can only have 10-12 cars and they wanted $$$ for it

for sure, i asked around and found out they dont allow drifting at the air field. what exactly happened for them to ban drifting only?
