font bsp; Putting my BEAMS up for sale. For those who don't know,the 3S-GE BEAMS was the fifth generation 3s motor. It is a 2 liter, makes 205hp,and is mounted to a 6-speed manual transmission. This motor is the Manual version which means it came stock with a little more hp than the auto version,has titanium valves and slightly higher compression. The motor was co-developed with Yamaha (which is why you will see their name in the pictures). Oh,and the motor is Dual-VVTi,and was never available stateside. It is also possible,to build a nasty 2.2 turbo using a 5S-FE block from a Camry,and the head from the manual BEAMS.
Infomercial aside, I am putting mine up for sale. Bought it for my project Corolla, but just don't have the time and resources to put the car back to rights. Motor was imported before the tsunamis that devastated Japan, and came out of a Toyota Altezza RS200 with less than 45k on it. Its been in storage since I bought it, and the engine cover was removed for safe keeping. This listing is for the motor and the 6-speed trans. Not included is an alternator, wiring harness, and ecu. Personally, I had planned on running an AEM EMS for custom tuning options, and so I could keep wiring to a minimum.
I am asking $1400, O.B.O.
