i dont know what to do. mabe head gasket? just bought the damn thing.

holy crap did you forget a 1 in front of the 40 and 70. how many miles are on it? i would try it again and maybee add some oil to the 1 and 3 cyliders. your rings are probably shot.

you cant really 'fail' a compression test, but yea, those numbers suck. Did you remember to keep the throttle at full open while testing each cylinder?

:hitit: WITH A SLEDGEHAMMER!!! Those numbers do suck. Try the wet test like suggested. Overall though with those bad of numbers you might as well rebuild it.

Id say it needs some attention hehe - Hard to tell more precisely what it is with such an extreme diffrence between cylinders.

no i didnt keep it at full throttle. i'm going to try that and the 2 tbl spoons of oil thing.
damn it i dont want to change the rings :( i just got the exhaust manifold and all back in !

i was told it doesnt really matter. but i guess i can. have to get some crush washers to go on my hardlines :-/ lost 2 and used regular copper washers.
and of course i work 4 days in a row and have school :-/ look like it's a bunch of llate nights again.
i'll keep ya posted. thanks for everyones help. best board IMO :rawk:
