Close. Outside tire diameter is what is important I.E if you run a 215/40 on a 17x8 and run the same size tire on a 17x9, height will differ due to stretch. This will take a toll on your diffs.

aftermarket staggered AWD is not good. if you ever go to discount tire for new tires, they wont touch your car unless it came staggered stock. just fyi

some places will do it, but you'll pay more for the tires and if anything happens, good luck getting them to pay for it
