Hey guys,
Looking for a plug for the EGR tube in the exhaust manifold. Does anyone know the size and where to get it?
I went to the local hardware shop and they only had standard sizes which gives the wrong the diameter and thread pitch I am looking for.
I welded mine up but the plug would be better if you have to smog it sometime. I'm in the backwoods so I will most likely never have to. You could try a machine shop the better ones generally carry some hydraulic stuff in odd sizes. Tranny shop may also have them. Just a thought, dont know if it will help but thats where I'd start.

The plug has a thread pitch of M24 x 1.5.....which is pretty hard to find at your local parts store.
However if you're willing to pay the $8 or so bucks, your local Nissan dealer should be able to get one for you.....part #14052-21R00....I know because I actually just got back from Nissan not an hour ago with one I ordered for my Hotshot header....small world...lol
I will tell you this though....when asking the parts guy for it, just give him the part number and tell him to shut his mouth...hahaha. I say this cause if you ask him to look up an IACV/EGR plug in the computer, they'll tell you it doesn't exist....typical to say the least...
I test fitted the plug into the header and it threads in about halfway, which should get the job done.....hope this helps...
