For sale is my 2003 Nissan 350z Track Edition. The car has roughly 93k miles on the chassis and 55k on the replaced motor. Motor was replaced professionally through Nissan and has no problems whatsoever. The car has been my daily, mechanically well taken care of but could use cosmetic work. The car has a ton of upgrades so here's the run down...

-Stock cloth seats in excellent condition
-E-Brake tip broke off from a poorly welded on handle extension from previous owner
-All interior behind the seats has been stripped out to reduce unnecessary weight

Like I said, the car has been my daily. The engine is unbelievably reliable with zero problems and zero leaks. The tranny shifts like butter. The only problems this car has is cosmetic, which is personal preference. The wheels were sprayed pink because every car has white, black or silver wheels and that's too boring for my taste. The car is a ton of fun to drive and always gets attention. I've never had any problems or issues with driving this and I really REALLY hate to sell it but unfortunately I can't afford it anymore now that I'm moving into my first apartment...

Actually, 350z are the new 240sx, a lot of drifter love to drift this car.

However, even your current price still $4000 - $5000 overprice from other people that selling 350z. I suggest you to look around craigslist, or even in this forum, there are many people try to sell 350z to compare, with the price that much lower than your asking price.

I dont try to shitting your thread or anything, i just try to be honest with you.

if i'm looking for 350z that already fully mod, ready for drift, i will pay for the money but i will looking for a good stuff in it, and in the other hand the equipment that you have in your car not even an expensive stuff in it.

Sadly and true, most of people that looking for this kind of car, they looking for the car that still "virgin", clean platform, never drifted, never been beat/abused. Yeah they will buy thecar that has been drift the krap of it buy they dont want to spend a lot of money, in other word they will lowball you.

Yours is beat to hell. Haggard as fuck. Granted, yes you did use it for what it was made for but I really don't see how it's worth 10,000 when it probably hit the rev limiter hundreds of times, hit walls/tires/barriers.

A Touring model with your mileage in fair condition goes for what your asking.

You can't ask KBB price for a tracked car that has been beat to piss. Brutal honesty here, no one will care that the car has been reliable and running like a clock for you, it is a known fact that track time puts unique stresses on a vehicles powertrain, suspension, and chassi that is not seen on streeted vehicles with similar mileage. On top of that, there is an open dif, missing interior panels, and the exterior is very rough looking. The engine bay could also use some cleaning.

Regardless of how well you've maintained the vehicle, the photos speak volumes about where it has been. Your price says "I'm selling a reliable fun commuter," but your photos say "I'm selling a modded and beaten track car." I initially just wanted to just flame, but I can't help but feel how clueless you are.

Protip:
1.)Reduce price to reflect wear/tear incurred.
2.) Replace missing interior panels, part out aftermarket stuff and replace with stock, clean engine bay, invest in replacing damaged exterior ground kit. Give it a good detail/wax and go take some stance pictures in some empty parking lot cause unfortunately that's what people want to see. You will get closer to your asking price this way.

A lesson in marketing.

I appreciate your mature and honest response. I'll probably end up keeping it because I am starting to realize that it has more value to me than others. It's my first 350z so I guess I wasn't up to date on what they're going for. I based my pricing off of my local Craigslist and when I saw stock Z's going for 10k I figured mine would be worth more with the amount of parts on it but I do realize its beat up. And it is my daily commuter but it has seen the track quite a bit.
