Most of you should have a descent idea of what shipping will be based on the size of the item. your sure this is a journal bearing turbo? i looked up part numbers and it is coming back as a ball bearing turbo. and has the turbo been run with all that shaft play? i wasnt aware there was all that play in it, and the waste gate actuator looks like it needs to be replaced due to the nipple being bent.

The actuator was fine when I shipped it. I bought it new as a s14 turbo. I clearly stated it needs a rebuild.

I'm aware you said it needed a rebuild but i thought just the seals were bad, didn't know about the shaft play. also after looking up the part number it comes up as a ball bearing turbo and not a journal bearing turbo as you stated. and if it is ball bearing then it cant be rebuilt, which is my biggest concern. if it is journal then it can get rebuilt, which is also why i asked if it was still on the car when it had that shaft play.

I'll look up the receipt from when I ordered it. If it is ball bearing, I had no idea. It started causing my car to smoke horribly so I took it off same day.

I just got off the phone with a distributor of Garrett turbo's and they looked up the part number and confirmed that it is a ball bearing turbo. With that being said the only reason i purchased it was due to the fact that i was told it was a journal bearing turbo (i understand you thought it was a journal) and that it could be rebuilt. So I'm wondering if i could get my money back and ill ship you back the turbo since i only bought it because i was told it was a journal, if i knew it was a ball bearing i would not have purchased it.
