but if I order them and take the car to a shop / learn how to install them on my own are there any other bits of hardware or parts I might need to complete the job?? (decides bellows I think)

Yep...new bellows and a spring compressor. Some nice hand tools will help too. Remember...these shocks are not really designed for lowering springs. Not sure if you were planning to add that.
