i put the cam in dropped the lifters in torqued my timing cover bolts i took a pic of the motor is assembled well almost...... next is heads and my intake i decided to ditch the stock upper and lower and went to monument autoparts and picked up a highflow water pump

Sorry well i thought u were trying to say my cars a bucket with a pos motor heres the thing an ls a good one u can pick up for maybe $1800 but then a mount kit is expensive then u gotta update a couple of things like water pump seals and stuff and the money u thought u saved adds up quickly unless you wanna take the chance and shove it in right away..... I wanted an ls so bad but money was the issue i wouldve been $6500 in the swap and that doesnt even machine work

You're going to need different flanges on your headers. The GT40P'S use a different flange.
I like the progress, can't wait til its out. This fucking motor with gt40 intake(cobra) and those gt40p head's should wake up that motor a lot. The stock E7? heads can't flow for shit. Port the 40p's :)

Yea i had some headman headers but i sold em major fail but ill get some others intake im going with is the trickflow i might have the heads ported everywhere i read they say they dont flow for shit but money can only take me so far drift season is right around the corner so i gotta get this thing going

lol its just my old s13 exhaust i didnt plan to run it man calm down. this car still has alot of work to be done especially wiring and suspension wise. and yea this car is fun as fuck to slide..

i wanted to build an LS but i got this 302 and didnt wanna give up on this motor considering i got it rebuilt no way to go back but to proceed forward and give it some good quality parts aswell

I will make all sorts of videos when i get it purr.......i mean roaring a lot of people hate on these swaps out here in nor-cal but another reason is because they do junkyard swaps and push em hard and a high milage ford engine isn't the best candidate for a drift car considering the bay area is in NorCal and the bay area is well known for sideshows the majority of these motors come from mustangs that most likely participated in a few sideshows in its past.
this is why a rebuild is always good to do so yes give it a shot you might like it better than your 1uz and theres alot of aftermarket support so thats a plus

ok my fab guy sent me another pic he got the removable rad support bar on now so engine swaps are gonna be so much easier but he still has alot of work since i want my pop ups still hes going to fab bracket so every thing will work like factory

Ok got the car back at home here goes the list of things to be done

-Relocate my chassis harness inside the car along with the fuse boxes-done
-sand/paint engine bay -done
-buy all suspension-$3500
-R&P -done
-order mount kit/new engine harness-$1200
-finish motor and get a clutch-$1000
-misc crap new hood/wheels/tires/fittings-$2200

yes it is pricey but so far everything on this car is going to be brand new

On to the the harness :( im not gonna lie its an overwhelming amout of wires but when you figure out what wire does what my confidence level goes up


ima clean it up with some cool fancy braided loom im no jeff jordan nor chase bay wire guru

I worked on my fuse box harness all day till i decided to shorten it and didnt realize the head light wiring isnt long enough so kinda have to extend the headlight wiring but this was my day today

Finally managed to get the headlight harness completed im 90% in completing the fuse box relocation also eliminated a crap ton of wires in the main harness I need some more days off to get all the wiring done but got alot done for 2 days. lots of extending and rerouting around my tube front

Im just kidding lol never giving up on my car.anyways ordered my swap kit from virgil @concept 8 also bought a mig welder and started practicing on my welding made a couple of random crap. i still suck but i built up my confidence to weld on my own car. so i gutted the rear and stitch welded the wheel wells,shock towers

Car will be getting a cage after all my suspension is in right now it has no rear subframe its on jack stands Im just waiting on the buyer of my trailer to free up more space around the house
