I feel you. not a huge fan either...

id say price is fair for an 07 with less than 5k.
stretching a bike is supposed to help stabilization for straight line acceleration, people usually stretch drag bikes. however, youll lose some handling.

or another reason is to fit a fatter rear tire, which again kills handling.
