Ok, so I got my 5 speed parts comming today.
Should I swap it in and then dyno the car? OR should I dyno the car then swap the transmission?
If the transmission isn't even an issue(which I don't think it is) im going to tune automatic, then swap.
Anyone?
I personally would tune it the exact way I planned on running it. Just my .02

Agreed. If you are going to swap in a 5sp. then dyno it with the 5sp.....usaully nissans loose around 5 or so HP on an auto(even though thats my weapon of choice....Level Ten kit going into it hopefully soon:))

If I were going to take the time to dyno and tune my car, I would want to have everything done first. Major mechanical changes upset a tune. I mean, you tune for a reason. Don't waste the time and money on the dyno by yanking the engine again.
So, get your major changes done first, and THEN tune.
