boost discrepancy

what up guys , i got an autometer phantom boost gauge, and a profec b spec 2 , and guess what as im trying to tune the profec , i see that at times the boost gauge is pretty far off what the profec is saying most of the time <1.5 psi , but ive seen 2 - 3 psi spikes on the profec that the autometer hasnt registerd. is this normal or should i throw the autometer in the trash. Who do i trust :barf: autometer or greddy??????? its A det by the way

I'd trust GReddy personally, however make sure your autometer is taking a good signal.

its referenced td off of the blow off valve which is directly in to the manifold
