Yo guys, I need a new phone plan starting March 2, and i'm wondering what are some good plans out there?

I've heard complains about pretty much every carrier (Verizon, ATT, Cingular, TMobile)

I live in SF and go to school in Sacramento area, so i need something with coverage in those areas. I'm looking to spend about $40 bucks a month, with a family plan so i can get a phone and line for my mom.

Also, any recommendations for a phone? Something around $150 or less, WITH A CAMERA...a good camera at that.

Any recommendations or hookups appreciated...

Oxymoron. This is like me getting that "cheap McLaren F1."

I actually got two amsung camera phones for $60 and both phones share the same plan of 1,000 anytime minutes and unlimited nights and weekends. Also night time minutes start at 7 for five bucks extra a month. Also added unlimited internet access (you can actually view web pages and use aim) and text messaging for 20 a month for both phones. The bill is 95 a month with the extras, 70 a month without the extras for both phones, and 50 a month for one phone. I think they charge 149 for both phones now but go check it out.
BTW this is sprint and the calls are crystle clear
go to radio shack and check it out. Hope this helps, im a lil drunk right now so it might not make sense.

i'll give t-mobile that, their plans are nice. but their coverage sucks compared to my cingular phone, hands down, and my plan more than works for me.;)

I really wish there were more providers in my area, I would be interested in going T-mobile...my ex-gf has a sprint phone through radioshack and she doesn't get very good coverage with it around here (Wisconsin,Minnesota)....I am stuck with some local shitty provider :(

Got Sileighty?

check out verizonwireless.com. and look at the LG VX6000 phone, i think its around $100 now. its what i have and its great. the camera in the phone is pretty good as long as theres a lot of light. plus verizon is usually voted as the best provider, so there you go.

Lookin at Cnet.com, there are horrible reviews about Tmobile coverage in San Francisco area where I live.

Verizon...might be promising.

I"m leaning towards Spring right now because of S14xman's account...but i'll take a look at Verizon too.
