How many of you in the area think it would be cool to have a BBQ/Car meet or something of the sort?.... sometime this spring would be cool.... just a thought, but i figured sence spring is a ways off... well not that far away, but pleanty of time to plan something... anyone in the area interested?

Im not sure... The blue ridge parkway crossed my mind... there are several places that have ample parking and lots of space to set up a grill and what not... but then again a big turnout (which i doubt will happen lol) might be to much for a public area like that... the advantage of the parkway is that it would cost us nothing, plus there is some excellent driving up there... i go driving up there quite often, and most of the time ill pass a row of anywhere between 10 to 20 crotch rockets... wouldn't it be cool to see 10 or 15 240s going though? lol

we had 22 240's at the meet friday night. last summer we had somewhere around 40 at a meet in fredricksburg. theres a serious chance of getting like 50ish people out to a good meet somewhere.

agree with the parkway, would be a lot of fun.

im defenitly in, and can bring 1-2 others with me.

hmm.... this acutally has a chance of happening then. lol i have a few friends in town that im sure would go, and as this post grows we might get a few more as well... im thinking around may when the weather is really nice, plus even if its a hot day it will be cooler in the mountians... any thoughts?

I think they hate that site because most of the people are from NoVA or MD. I'm down for a meet...just as long as its warm outside, easy to find, and the meet is longer than the drive over there. :p

I'm changing my single 10 running 700 watts(hella 10 inch man!) to two 12's with the same amp tomorrow.....

Spare 240 wheel? Once I get my new ones on,I'll have 4 spares for sale....:) loL! What'da need them for?

EDIT:They are progressive 5 spokes....I've seen 2 other S13 fastbacks in my area with them....dangit,one other red one,and a white one,I think they look better then steelies or teardrops,but I'm definitely changing them....they came with the car....enough :blah: for now!

I am painting my Rims,a dn it takes me an afternoon to get one done, doesn't matter if four or one, it matters because of drying time. I have done one, and put the spare on, but my spare is worthless, and I never have an afternoon where I don't need my car, so If I would switch my rims for a couple of days, i could get the painting done alot faster. I wouldn't want to buy the rims, just borrow them.

Oh, and you should see my custom sub bow I made. looks horrible, and made of pressborad, so It sounds bad, but the idea is cool. I had 2 10 subs and an amp, but I was tired of the weight, and little bass. they were $20 subs!!

lol, i actually pondered the idea of painting my stock rims at work today. my cars white... what you think of white on white, or would black do it more justice... or no justice at all... lol

My car is dark green, painting the rims flat balck, the car is going to be sprayed flat black, with tinted windows. and I saw a pic of a white coupe, the guy bought it, took it homw, and put on Tein HE's, a 5 ziegen exhaust, and painted the alloys black. looked sweet. can't go better than black rims IMO.
