battery relocate?

Okay so i've searched and all of the guides don't have pictures anymore because they've expired or something....

I just had one question, I cut this positive wire going to terminal, all i need to do is hook my new cable that runs to the trunk to it right? So basically sodder the 3 wires together and it'll be good? (plus ground it etc..)

Solder then crimp is what i did. But since i used thick solder i had to bust out the torch. Make sure you use a 0 gauge wire, i thought id get away with something smaller and my car would not crank sometimes. Switched to a zero and was good to go. As long as the wires you have indicated in your pic gp to the positive terminal - solder/crimp and you should be fine.

Pretty much. Just be sure to run a fuse or circuit breaker.

How would I crimp 3 wires together at one spot?

And cool thanks yeah I was just wanting to make sure that was right... I'll be running a 100A fuse a couple feet from the battery.

I think your concept is good, however are you also going to be running a kill switch with this setup or no? May be worthwhile to google a diagram to compare to make sure you kill alternator and battery power.

I didn't plan on running a kill switch as I thought that was only worth wile for track inspections, etc...

I realized its pretty hard twisting 3 4 gauge wires together and soldering it... I got it thought I think

To be honest i would just do what i did, crimp each one to its own connector and slap them all on the fuse box positive terminal. I tried crimping all and it was sketchy.

Get a power distribution block. I got mine from a e30 BMW from the junk yard, and they have a long battery cable about 13 feet that I used its 00 gauge so it's more than enough as it cost less than 10 bucks

so you used a 0 for the positive and 0 for the negative? I was about to just use 2 for positive and 0 for negative.

It might work. My engine would crank but not fire with 2 on the positive side, and fired right up with 0. My friend suggested it was because of the distance from the battery to the fuse box .
