Hey guys just got a profec B for my s14, just curious to were you guys put the control box. I dont know where to mount the bish, let me know some ideas , by the way the area under the radio is taken by some gauges.....

glove box is a nice place to put it if you want to hide it. The space right under the radio i think is the best reasonable spot

You wanna be able to check it out while you are driving don't you? My whole goal is being discreet since I'm in on of the highest theft rate city in the nation, but I'd like to use my monitoring equipment to monitor!

originally thats were i wanted to put it, but it is too long and at the angle it has to sit in that whole the boost nipple hits the carpet and if you close the door to the ashtray, you could probably break the nipple off... right now i just have it in the glove compartment, untill i can find a better place..

Well, do yo smoke? If not, just take the entire ashtray out. i don't think Jeff240sx was recomending you put it IN the ashtray. Take that thing out, find a flat piece of plastic, dremmel yourself a hole and pop that baby in there.

I agree w/ the above two posts - keep the top of the ashtray (flip-up lid part), but mount a flat piece of plastic near the top w/ a cut-out for the boost controller to come through. This is where I plan on mounting my boost controller and turbo timer. I've just never made or fabricated a mount like this before, so if anyone has any suggestions of how they did theirs I would greatly apprciate it.

Take off the plastic piece covering your head unit, vents, and temperature controls. It really isn't that hard making your own mounting brackets or cutting and placing some plastic in that hole. You've just gotta dig and and do it! :) :) :)

i had mine mounted sideways on the tranny tunnel next to my leg
