hey whats up recently got a 72 240z since someone cut me off when i was driving my 240sx coupe and unable to fix it cuz how bad it is and wondering since i know the ls1 and rb25 is popular in the Z's. What's more reliable and be more fun for daily use and for street and my budget is 12k

Not knowing weather its a 71 or 72 With only 12K, Only Choice is V8! Parts are all in the junkyard and dirt cheap......did I also mention DIRT CHEAP!!

If you had more money I would RB25. This route might as well go RB26 with the work.

Your 19 and soon to be broke after the motor swap, keep it simple and just enjoy it.

prob would just do a ls1 and bolt ons later down the road. I've seen bunch of ppl with rb's and sr's and ka's in s13 and s14's all the time plus i was planing on doing a ls1 in my s13 coupe until someone cut me off and made me crash

Check out hybridz.org. They cover pretty much all the swaps on there and have tons of info on all of them

gahdamn you have 12gs but you couldnt fix your 240!?
anyways, before you go ahead with the motor swap i suggest you get your Z up to date. including regular maintenance, replacing worn suspension/rubber parts, bigger brakes, better suspension etc etc.
