wont work with MAF plugged in

need some help on my sr... my car wont work with the MAF plugged in. it runs fine without but wont go pass 3000rpm.. if i start the car with it unplugged its ok but then if i plug the MAF in while its on it just starts to die... it wont even start if i try it with it plugged in(except for the first time when i moved my CAS around)... does anyone know what it could be? someone told me it could be a boost leak, my ecu is chipped, or maybe the wiring, idk... i also tested 3 different MAF's. and they came off of a sr20det that worked fine

Is it the stock SR MAF? Maybe the Ecu is tuned for a different MAF

What year 240sx? What engine (redtop, blacktop, notchtop, photoshop...) ? What MAF ? What ECU ? Is the ECU chipped ? Is there any piggy back fuel controler (SAFC, etc) ?

When was the engine last running correctly ? What took place between then and now ?

Also, you mentioned moving your cas around... I hope you reset it correctly.
