I had a local shop specializing in vacuum forming quote a tool to make a gauge pod that nests on top of the steering column trim piece. I thought this would be a great alternative to the A pillar pods which I can't stand. The design I came up with would allow the use of a 45 or 52 mm gauge. You'd have to drill the hole to suit the gauge you intended to use. This would be a very high quality piece and would look OE. I'd like to keep the price below $60 + shipping. I don't want to commit funds for the tool unless there is a genuine interest from at least 20 guys. Thoughts?

Yeah I think a double gauge would be neat, but might be obstructed easily by your hands.
